In 2025, organizations faced a wave of "quiet" breaches where attackers bypassed the perimeter using authorized identities and trusted integrations. Now, this risk is accelerating.
As enterprises shift to autonomous AI, the security perimeter has expanded. But most security architectures — built for human speed and browser-based interactions — are blind to this reality. They see the "Front Door," but miss the "Engine Room."
The new risk is within the backend ecosystem — a rapidly growing attack surface where AI agents execute millions of high-speed operations. Vorlon secures this critical layer to provide the supervision necessary to run AI at scale.
We envision a world where every AI agent, SaaS connection, and integration is continuously understood and governed, so enterprises can deploy autonomous AI at scale while protecting their most sensitive data.
Vorlon was founded in 2022 by Amir Khayat and Amichay Spivak—two cybersecurity pioneers with over 35 years of combined experience protecting some of the world’s most complex digital environments. Before Vorlon, Amir and Amichay built Demisto, the widely adopted Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platform. Demisto (now Palo Alto Networks XSOAR) transformed how security teams respond to incidents, and its 2019 acquisition by Palo Alto Networks remains one of the largest in cybersecurity history.
But while helping thousands of global enterprises automate and streamline their security operations, Amir and Amichay saw a new, rapidly growing risk—one that traditional tools could not address. While vendors take certain precautions to secure the development of their own APIs, there has been no attention paid to protecting data in motion from one vendor's system to another.
Since the dawn of time, Vorlons have served as the silent protectors of the galaxy—or so the popular TV series went. Vorlon is this omnipresent defense against threats far and wide. As both superfans of the show Babylon 5 and cybersecurity defenders our founders took creative inspiration from their namesake's origin when starting our company.
