Vorlon is seeking a Technical Product Marketing Engineer to enhance our marketing initiatives by providing deep technical expertise in the presentation and demonstration of our cybersecurity products. This role is essential for developing technical content and tools that effectively communicate the value of our products to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and product overviews for use in sales meetings, customer visits, and trade shows.
- Create detailed technical documentation, whitepapers, case studies, and blog posts that explain product features and benefits in terms that are understandable to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Create and manage demo environments suitable for a range of scenarios including sales calls, trade shows, webinars, etc.
- Support the marketing team by providing technical insights that inform the development of marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of the product's technical details and upcoming features.
- Assist in the creation of training materials and tools for the sales team, enhancing their ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
- Participate in product launch activities, ensuring that all technical marketing materials are accurate and compelling.
- Conduct competitive analysis to understand market trends and position our products effectively against competitors.
- Assist the Demand Specialist with creating, testing, and optimizing messaging used in our advertising efforts.
- Design and participate in product webinars/technical workshops, and trade shows, enhancing product visibility and lead generation.
- Serve as a technical spokesperson for the company on official analyst briefings, and press interactions.
- Provide insights and feedback from the market to guide product development and enhancements.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a technical marketing role within cybersecurity. Or, prior experience working in a cybersecurity practitioner role (such as security analyst, incident responder, etc.) with an interest in moving into a technical product marketing role.
- Deep understanding of the rules, laws and regulations, as well as cybersecurity frameworks that impact customers’ cybersecurity strategies and decision making.
- Proven ability to create and present technical content that engages and informs diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity products, market dynamics, and customer needs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information in a clear and persuasive manner.
- We do not require a college degree if your life and work experience is commensurate with having a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field. Veterans with a cybersecurity background and passion for sales and marketing are strongly encouraged to apply.

Job Requirements:
- Ability to work remotely from anywhere in the US.
